Well what I made this blog for was to share with everybody my art, my inspiration, things I like, and to know others opinion about my creations :)
So !... let's get started... it's 2:30 a.m. he-he, im listening to one of my favorite bands called Yes... let's talk about them: Yes are an English progressive rock band formed in London in 1968 and generally regarded as one of the archetypal bands of the genre. Despite a great many lineup changes, occasional splits within the group and the ever-changing trends in popular music, the band has continued on for over forty years and still retains a large following. The band's music blends symphonic and other 'classical' structures with their own brand of rock music, which is marked by sharp dynamic contrasts, extended song lengths, abstract lyrics, and a general showcasing of instrumental prowess. Music: is one of my inspirations, and when I draw or picture what im going to do in my mind I like to do it listening to music I like because otherwise what im doing doesn't turn out good, like listening to the kind of music I don't like turns awfull... I really like rock bands ans pop music but I grew up listening to classic music and classic rock so i think I have an not-so-bad taste for music, that's just my personal opinion everybody has their own liking. my favorite bands and artists since a couple years ago are: Kate Bush, Coldplay, Yes, Smashing Pumpkins, The Cure, Nirvana, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Jethro Tull, Led Zeppelin , Jimy Hendrix, Cat Stevens, Elton John, Blur... Recently I started listening to Gorillaz, I really love their art works the story , the characters, and ofcourse the music. I listen to another artists like Lady GaGa and Avril Lavigne etc... but i don't really think they are as good as the ones i mentioned before.
